Symbolism & Iconography

Multiple Heads & Limbs: Seven wrathful heads crowned by a buffalo head, with numerous arms and legs—showing his limitless strength to destroy ignorance.

Wrathful Expression: Scorpion-like hair, sharp fangs, blazing eyes, and a protruding tongue, meant to terrify hostile forces while protecting devotees.

Sacred Implements: Central hands hold a skull cup and chopping knife while embracing his consort Vajra Vetali. Other hands carry ritual objects such as vajras, knives, tridents, and severed heads.
