Yellow Jambhala Thangka | Hand-Painted Tibetan Wealth Deity Art with Gold & Natural Pigments
This is an original hand-painted Tibetan Thangka of Jambhala, the revered deity of wealth and prosperity. In Buddhist tradition, Jambhala removes the obstacles of poverty and creates the right conditions for both material stability and spiritual growth.
It is believed that when Gautama Buddha was teaching, negative forces tried to disturb him. Jambhala appeared to protect the Buddha, and as a result, he was asked to become a Dharma protector. Since then, he has been honored as a powerful source of abundance, good fortune, and support for those who call upon him.
Jambhala’s blessings are said to bring:
Wealth and prosperity
Removal of financial obstacles
Increased wisdom and clarity
Long life and good fortune
Support for spiritual practice
Symbolism and Attributes
Five Forms of Jambhala
Jambhala appears in five forms—yellow, white, black, green, and red. The yellow form is the most popular and is associated with wealth, generosity, and growth.
Royal Form
He is shown seated like a king, wearing a crown and rich ornaments. This reflects his role as the guardian of wealth.
Citron Fruit (Bijapuraka)
Held in his right hand, it symbolizes prosperity, abundance, and long life.
Mongoose of Treasures
In his left hand, he holds a mongoose that releases jewels endlessly. This represents victory over the nagas and the sharing of wealth with all beings.
